Jonah Winter�s first picture book was Diego, the story of Mexican muralist Diego Rivera. Illustrated by his mother, Jeanette Winter, it was named one of the hundred best American children�s books of the twentieth century by the Ruminator Review. His other books include Fair Ball!: 14 Great Stars From Baseball�s Negro Leagues and Once Upon a Time in Chicago The Story of Benny Goodman. A poet and a painter as well as a children�s book author, Jonah lives in Pittsburgh, PA.
