Have a comment on one of our books? Want to get a question answered? We'd love to hear from you! However, you should be aware of a few limitations:
- We're only a three-person staff, and as a result, we don't have unlimited time to reply to e-mail. We will do our best to respond to your message in a timely fashion. Thank you for your patience!
- We've tried to answer many of our most frequently asked questions on the FAQ page. Before you write to us, we'd very much appreciate it if you'd look at the FAQ and see if we answered your question there. That saves us all time!
- Because we're concerned about viruses, we delete any e-mails with attachments.
- It is much, much easier for us to track and respond to submissions we receive in hard copy form. As a result, we do not accept manuscripts or query letters via e-mail. We hope this won't prevent you from sending your manuscript to us, however! Please see our submission guidelines for more information.
- Our authors love receiving mail from readers! But their time is limited as well, and thus we regret we can't forward e-mails on to them. If you'd like to contact an author, please send a letter to

Honestly, we went back and forth about this email function. Arthur really wanted it so that people could talk to us about the books and have a kind of open forum. But we are also worried about falling victim to mass forwards, flames, inappropriate e-mail, or spam. If there's anything you can do to help us prevent that from happening, we'd appreciate it.
