Mary GrandPr� has illustrated more than twenty beautiful books, including Henry and Pawl and the Round Yellow Ball, cowritten with her husband Tom Casmer; Plum, a collection of poetry by Tony Mitton; The Sea Chest, by Tony Buzzeo; Sweep Dreams, by Nancy Willard; and the American editions of all six Harry Potter novels. Her work has also appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic Monthly, and The Wall Street Journal, and her paintings and pastels have been shown in galleries across the United States.

Ms. GrandPr� lives in Sarasota, Florida, with her family.
