Jeanette Winter

Jeanette Winter loves to tell true stories of real people for young readers. She wrote and illustrated The Librarian of Basra, the story of Alia Muhammad Baker, and My Name is Georgia, about painter Georgia O'Keefe. With her son Jonah, she created Diego, a Reading Rainbow selection about the muralist Diego Rivera. Jeanette lives in New York City.
