An Oscar for Shaun Tan! Congratulations to Shaun Tan, whose animated short film won an Oscar at this year's Academy Awards! The film is an adaptation of Shaun's original picture book, The Lost Thing, which can be read in Lost & Found: Three by Shaun Tan, now available wherever you love to buy books.

Shaun Tan wins Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award! Our congratulations to Shaun Tan, who is the recipient of this year's Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, which is the largest prize in children's literature, and is designed to reward artistic talent of the highest quality and promote the importance of children's literature worldwide.
