Elaine Greenstein

When Elaine Greenstein was a little girl, her parents would not let her have an ice cream cone in the car until she could eat one without making a mess. As a grown-up and an expert eater of ice-cream cones, she remembered that experience and started daydreaming about her favorite treat. And so began her search for the inventor of the ice cream cone, which turned out to have more twists and turns than she could have imagined! Elaine lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her dog Ruby, who kindly posed for a picture in Ice-Cream Cones for Sale!.
