William Rodarmor


William Rodarmor is a veteran French literary translator, writer, and editor. His translation of Tamata and the Alliance, by Bernard Moitessier, won the 1996 Lewis Galantière Award from the American Translators Association. Other recent translations include Diasporas, by Stéphane Dufoix, and Julien Parme, by Florian Zeller. His translation of Ultimate Game, by Christian Lehmann, was a Batchelder Honor winner in 2001, and the New York Public Library named The Book of Time, by Guillaume Prevost, a 2007 Book of the Teen Age. He lives in Berkeley, California.
